• What Lighthouse score can you guarantee on Shopify?

  Mobile 90+ and desktop 95+ on the homepage, product detail page, and collection page post-fix is the standard target. Some advanced metrics (TBT, INP) depend on third-party apps — if a Yotpo reviews widget or Klaviyo onsite popup is blocking the main thread, we'll flag it and either defer it or recommend a lighter alternative. We deliver against the target or refund the difference.

• Will the Shopify speed optimization break my apps or theme features?

  No — we work on a duplicated theme copy first, run full QA, and only push to live once you've signed off on the staging build. The optimization is non-destructive: theme code is refactored, images are re-uploaded with optimized variants, scripts are reordered. Your apps stay installed and functional.

• What's the difference between Lighthouse Performance, LCP, and Core Web Vitals?

  Lighthouse Performance is a 0–100 score Google computes from your page's loading behavior. LCP (Largest Contentful Paint) is when the main content becomes visible — under 2.5s is good. Core Web Vitals are the three metrics Google uses for ranking: LCP, CLS (layout shift), and INP (interaction responsiveness). We optimize all three. Speed improvements typically lift Google rankings within 4–8 weeks.

• Does Shopify speed optimization work on Online Store 2.0 themes like Dawn?

  Yes. We work on Dawn, Sense, Stiletto, Impulse, Prestige, Pacific, and any other OS 2.0 theme. Older Vintage themes can also be optimized but the ceiling is lower (typically Mobile 75–85 instead of 90+) because of their architecture. If you're on a Vintage theme, the audit will tell you whether a speed sprint or a theme rebuild is more cost-effective.

• What happens if my Shopify speed drops again after the sprint?

  14-day re-test guarantee — if the same fixes regress within two weeks, we re-apply them at no charge. Most regressions come from new apps installed after launch (Yotpo, Smile, Loox, Klaviyo each cost 5–15 Lighthouse points if installed without care).
