About
Hi, I'm Ashraful. I build Shopify stores for a living.
For 7+ years. As a Shopify Select Partner. 100+ stores. One app live in the App Store, two more on the way. And now, a theme. That's the short version.
Origin story
Why ezomfy exists
How 7+ years of freelancing for Shopify merchants turned into a one-person shop with a Select Partner badge — and what that means for the merchants who work with me today.
I've spent the last 7 years working with Shopify merchants — first on Upwork, then directly. Hundreds of clients, every kind of store: fashion, jewelry, supplements, B2B, single-product, marketplace. Themes, apps, migrations, custom integrations, the kind of one-off Liquid fixes you do at 11pm because Black Friday is in six hours.
What I noticed over those years: the gap between what merchants need and what agencies sell is enormous. Merchants ask for a $3,000 theme job and get pitched a $25,000 “discovery phase.” They get bounced between sales reps and project managers and offshore subcontractors and somehow end up with worse code than they would have gotten from a single competent freelancer. They sign retainers nobody can cancel and wait six months for a button color change.
ezomfy is the version of that company I wish existed in 2018, when I was starting out.
One person — me — does the work. Quotes are fixed and written before work starts. Timelines are real. The code is conventional and portable. Support after launch is included. If a project isn't a fit, I tell you and you go somewhere else.
That's it. Not a movement, not a manifesto. A small, focused shop with the standards I wish I had to live up to when I was a client.
What ezomfy actually is
Skipping the abstractions — here's the business in four lines.
What I do
Shopify theme builds, custom apps, store migrations, speed optimization, Hydrogen / headless storefronts, plus ongoing care plans for live stores.
Who I work with
DTC founders, B2B operators, established brands — anyone on Shopify who'd rather talk to the developer than to a sales pipeline.
How it works
Fixed written quote within 4 hours. No discovery phase, no retainer lock-in, no offshore handoff. One developer, one invoice, one point of contact.
The catalog
Verso premium theme, Shoppable Video (live in Shopify App Store), StorePilot AI + Hailship (in review). Productized work alongside the custom services.
What I believe
Six rules I work by
The standards I hold myself to on every project, in every conversation, on every line of code I ship.
Fixed quotes, no surprises
Every project gets a written, fixed price agreed before work starts. If I underestimate, that's my problem, not yours.
You talk to me, not a sales team
Same person quotes, codes, supports. No account managers, no offshore handoffs, no 'let me check with my team.'
Real timelines
Themes in days. Custom builds in weeks. Migrations in under two weeks. I tell you the realistic number, not the one you want to hear.
Code another dev can pick up
Strict Shopify conventions, no clever tricks. The work I leave behind is the work I'd want to inherit.
I turn down work
If you'd be better served by a different agency, a different platform, or doing it yourself — I'll say so. Saying no a couple times a month is how I sleep at night.
30 days of free post-launch support
On every project. If something I built breaks, I fix it. No ticketing system, no support tier — just email.
Capabilities
The toolkit behind every service
Eight capability areas — the skills, APIs, and platforms I work in every week. Theme dev, app dev, store builds, migrations, speed, Hydrogen / headless, SEO, and ongoing care.
